Garfield Elementary School Revere, MA High-tech magnet school complex with rooftop play areas. Its location within the coastal flood plane, necessitated the underground parking garage be designed to withstand extreme hydraulic pressure and provide storage for intermittent flood water. Gordon College Wenham, MA Developed new pedestrian and vehicular circulation system for campus which integrated new buildings and expanded parking facilities with existing campus. Plans included the development of new plazas and focal points for pedestrian orientation and to up-grade facility image. Oak Bluffs Elementary School Oak Bluffs, MA Plan for 65 acre site incorporating new building and athletic facilities for school and community use. Leominster Elementary School Leominster, MA Site plan for new school on hilltop location. Site constraints included minimizing grading operations and road alignment considerations. Babson College Special Events Center Wellesley, MA Developed preliminary plans through construction documents for expanded athletic center. Site work for building and related facilities which included pedestrian/service access, parking, tennis courts and soccer fields. Produced least disruptive plan for heavily vegetated, sloping site to maintain landscape character of existing campus. Southbridge Elementary Schools Southbridge, MA Produced site plans and construction documents for the expansion of three elementary schools. Services included site surveys and wetlands filings, as well as meetings with community groups. Amenities included numerous landscaped courtyards, playgrounds and community facilities. Northern Essex Community College Haverhill, MA Developed five-year master plan for suburban campus. Program requirements focused on upgrading campus image with planting, sculpture placement and maintenance based upon annual cost expenditures. Westfield Vocational School Westfield, MA Design through construction documents for a major building addition which was to join two existing buildings into a single facility. The site plan resolved a 35 foot grade change between the buildings. Construction cost $430,000. West Brookfield Elementary School West Brookfield, MA Building expansion which doubled the size of existing facility. Coordinated multi-disciplinary team. Recreational facilities included three baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and nature trails. Site work construction cost $500,000. Sweetsir & Donaghue Elementary Schools Merrimac, MA Site plans for building expansions, including entry plazas/play areas, restoration of playgrounds and fields. Services included wetlands filings. Wellfleet Elementary School Wellfleet, MA Site plan for a major building addition in this traditional coastal community. Building and site features were designed to blend with the regional vernacular. Fall River Middle School Fall River, MA Studied several sites within the town and developed feasibility reports and schematic designs for new school location. Thomas Prince Elementary School Princeton, Ma School expansion requiring renovation of all existing site features. Play fields expansion required stream crossing at vernal pools within endangered species habitat. School addition created two interior courtyards developed as exterior classrooms. Play areas developed according to age-appropriate equipment for Town-wide use. Cole Elementary School Boxford, MA Rehabilitation of existing school and building expansion located within historic Town Center. Design detailing used to integrate the new building with the environs included antique fieldstone site walls and brick walks. The separation of parent's drop-off area from the school bus circulation route provided efficient peak hour functioning and safety.  Home
