Winthrop Square Park     Brockton, MA
Created an urban park around an existing historic clock and fountain. Utilized traditional materials and detailing to enhance the rehabilitated Victorian Centerpiece. Construction budget $158,000





Natick Town Common and Streetscape Improvements     Natick, MA
Funded by The D.E.M. Town Commons Program. Improvements included lighting, site furniture and special paving. Tree planting defined the perimeter of the space and formed a backdrop for the new bandstand. Project cost $350,000





Tyler Park Historic Restoration Project
Lowell, MA
Restoration of passive park designed by Olmsted firm in 1892 as the centerpiece of an up-scale residential development. Worked with neighborhood interest group to develop final design. Final products included bid document and cost estimates. Funded by DEM Historic Landscapes Restoration Program.





Sheehy Waterfront Park Extension Phase 3
Lowell, MA
Developed construction documents for renovation of existing park and parking area. Design improvements integrated with previous phases of park development included walks, site furnishings and plantings. Construction cost $138,000




Greater Lowell Vocational Technical School Track Renovation        Tyngsborough, MA
Up-grade of running track to conform to 400 meter layout. Improvements included new rubberized running surface, as well as long jump and high jump areas. Construction cost $125,000







Dunn State Park - Universal Access Project     Gardner, MA
Master plan and contract documents for 135 acre park operated by the DEM Division of Forests and Parks. Services included an audit of existing conditions resulting in a Master Plan to provide access to all park facilities. Accessible facilities now include swimming, fishing, boating, nature trails, picnicking and children's play equipment. Construction cost $350,000

Tournament soccer facility to be utilized by City and High School leagues. Facilities include spectator bleachers, concession/storage building, fencing, parking facilities, and an irrigation system. Design services include master planning & construction documents. Budget $350,000
Fort Hill Park Restoration     Lowell, MA
Restoration of an existing 53 acre Olmsted Park within a Federally Registered Historic District. Formal areas include the restoration of a quadrafoil fountain, path configurations restored to original and new plantings. Funded by Massachusetts Historical Society.

Streetscape design for roadway expansion of a scenic roadway. Worked with private property owners to mitigate expansion impacts. Design intent to maintain scenic country road environment.

Master plan for general up-grade of neighborhood recreation facility. Included improvements to field house, new fencing, walkways and planting.

Improvement plan for new lighting, walkways and addressing access issues.

Developd two new accessible access points to river walk. Improvements along path system included opening viewpoints to River, improving security and access.

Design involved roadway improvements for new bus stop including siting of new bus shelter.

Idylebrook Park Playfields     Medway, MA
Multiple use playfield development including three soccer fields and a baseball field. Walking/nature trails provided which were adjacent to wetland habitat. Cost $150,000

Westlawn Cemetery Main Entry Gates     Lowell, MA
Design and construction services for major gateway entry to expanded cemetery area. Custom steel pedestrian and vehicular gates installed within granite veneer columns. Cost $65,000

Streetscape Program     Lowell, MA
Program director for grant program focused on up-grading building facades, signage and streetscape elements within Lowell neighborhoods. Program goals are to improve shopping environment within neighborhoods.

Stoddard and Patoma Park     Holliston, MA
Public recreation improvement project adjacent to Lake Winthrop. Improvements include a new parking area, accessible path to the beach and comfort station using composting technology. Construction budget $225,000

Fayville Park and Playground     Southborough, MA
Accessible community playground, walking paths, shade structure, picnic facilities and landscape improvements. Services included wetlands filings and permits.

Designed eight tennis courts for school including environmental permits required by Town. Construction cost $150,000

Development of master plan for multi-field facility to include concession building, parking area and playground. Phased implementation. Cost $650,000

Alumni Baseball Field Improvements     Lowell, MA
Design up-grades for a minor league baseball park from an existing high school facility. Park improvements included expanding the outfield dimensions, new fencing and designing spaces to accommodate crowd entry and departures. Siting for new grandstands with press box and elevated bleachers was also accommodated. Budget $600,000

Sheehy Waterfront Park Master Plan     Lowell, MA
Master plan for an urban waterfront park located on the Merrimac River. The design integrated the Neighborhood Interest Group program with the City's goals and maintenance capabilities to produce a three-phase master plan. Estimated construction cost $776,000

Camp Mary Bunker and Pegan Cove     Natick, MA
Construction documents for waterfront recreational facility and campground. Program included providing full accessibility to facilities. $128,000

Fort Griswold State Park     Groton, CT
Master plan for Connecticut's first Heritage State Park. Design issues included archeological and architectural resource management, and museum interpretive program.

Lally Park & Union Street Park

Restoration of historic urban parks to original condition. Design detailing included restoration of original details on wrought iron fencing and gates. Protection of existing mature trees required special precautions. Construction cost $180,000

Roadway reconstruction and parking improvements project adjacent to C.B.D. and fishing industry processing plants. Established parking patterns to alleviate competition between truck holding areas and downtown business requirements. Construction cost $90,000

Lawrence, MA
Design development and working drawings for linear park along historic canal. Pedestrian amenities included cantilevered overlook and street tree planting.

Lower Mills Heritage State Park     Dorchester, MA
Master plan for interpretive park, highlighting the Neponset River and the development of the cocoa manufacturing industry which utilized it as a power source.

Hough's Neck Waterfront Park
Quincy, MA
Enlarged an existing public boat launch facility and developed pedestrian amenities to provide equal access to the waterfront. Construction cost $185,000

Copley Deck/Southwest Corridor Project
Boston, MA
Urban linear park situated between Copley Place and Tent City created an exciting and defensible open space linking the South End with the Back Bay. Built on a structural deck bridging over the M.B.T.A. train tracks, plants were installed within "roof top" planters. Park amenities included urban plazas, bike paths, community gardens, play areas, basketball courts and seating areas. Construction cost $977,000
